Humanitarian Projects
Twice a year, Dr. Anderton, his wife, and a few staff travel with a group of
other healthcare providers from around the U.S. to foreign, often third world
countries. While there, they spend ten days on a
grueling 18 hour schedule to see, diagnose, and treat those who do not have
access to adequate health and dental care. They also make special visits to
orphanages and hospitals to bring gift bags and smiles to the children
there. Dr. Anderton has been participating in this volunteer effort since
2008 and has many cherished memories. The people are humble, happy and
grateful for the services provided, as is shown by the
photos below; and we, at Anderton Dental Group, love to be a part of it.
Since 2008, the humanitarian group has been to:
- Sao Pedro, Honduras (Apr. 2008)
- Xela, Guatemala (Sep. 2008)
- Guatemala City, Guatemala (Apr. 2009)
- El Salvador (Nov. 2009)
- Nicaragua (Apr. 2010)
- Sao Pedro, Honduras (Nov. 2010)
- Tegucigalpa, Honduras (Apr. 2011)
- Panama City, Panama (Nov. 2011)
- Suquian, China (May 2012)
